Staff Interview

H.D., Vending Machine Management Staff

With precision marketing and thoughtfulness,
we position vending machines to meet people's needs.

H.D., Vending Machine Management Staff

We have many female employees who are active in this job, and there are positions open to all.

I found a job opportunity at thinkrun when I was looking for a permanent that I can have long career. I had worked part-time for a long time and had experience in a variety of jobs, but this was my first time working in vending machine management.
My primary duties include restocking vending machines with products, collecting money, collecting empty containers and cleaning. We load Coca-Cola products onto 2 to 3.5 ton trucks at the sales office and visit 15 to 20 vending machines in my assigned area per day.
When I am stocking new products, I am happy to hear passersby tell me they have been wanting to try the product. It has become a pleasure for me to make small talk with vending machine owners whom I have come to know well.
This company has many female staff members and positions are open to all genders and ages.

Teamwork creates a comfortable workplace that fosters mutual appreciation and trust.

The most interesting aspect of vending machine management is that it allows me to fully demonstrate my marketing skills. I once managed a vending machine with low sales. I researched the surrounding environment and found a park just around the corner, where a mother and her small child were playing. Seeing this, I reviewed past sales data and reexamined our product lineup, reducing the number of coffee products and shifting to a lineup consisting of juice, tea and water. Then sales dramatically improved! I was surprised the result, which exceeded my expectations, and was proud of making the vending machine perform better. At that time, I was reminded once again that I was not only delivering Coca-Cola products, but also doing important work that directly affects sales.
I have been with thinkrun for almost 10 years now. My team members are the reason that I have been able to continue working for so long here after repeatedly changing jobs before. By helping each other while we work, we can create a comfortable workplace that creates a sense of mutual appreciation and trust.

S.E., Warehouse and Office Staff

We can experience the power of
Coca-Cola brand in this job!

S.E., Warehouse and Office Staff

I want to be a person who is flexible in the face of change.

I work in a large distribution center for The Coca-Cola Company. The distribution center stores all types of Coca-Cola products and delivers them to each location as ordered. My role is to check orders from customers on a PC, check inventory and prepare for shipping. In addition to inventory, I must also check details such as arrival date at the base, expiration date, and whether the product is cold or hot.
I had administrative experience in medical facilities and the transportation industry, and I decided to join thinkrun because I felt it was an environment where I could use my experience. When I was approached about changing from the receptionist position I started with to my current product management position, I honestly wondered if I could do it.
However, I love trying to challenge new things, and my goal has always been to be a person who can flexibly adapt changes, so I took this opportunity to put my goal into practice in this department. Now, I am worth to do this job where I can learn new things day by day.

I recommend this work to those who value their private life.

I had a difficult time with relationships at my previous job, and I had some concerns about the work environment when I entered thinkrun, but my fears were disappeared right after I joined thinkrun.
My colleagues are polite and helpful, and the the staff members at the Coca-Cola company who manage the entire operation are all friendly and they check about the work quickly with me.
We work in shifts and I'm happy to have ample private time between my shifts. If you are interested in a work environment where you can experience the strength of the Coca-Cola brand, take a look at the job opportunities at thinkrun. I especially recommend thinkrun for those who value their private time.

K.R., Manager

The workstyle at thinkrun encourages unconventional thinking
and the pursuit of personal goals.

K.R., Manager

"think" and "run", made my career advanced.

After graduating from high school, I joined a local Coca-Cola group company as a contract employee. After turning the age 30, when I was thinking about my future, I was approached by thinkrun for full-time employment. I decided to join the company because I could get the most out of my experience and because I shared the philosophy of "Bringing happiness to people around the world, by enhancing the competitiveness of the beverage industry".
What surprised me when I started working there was the workstyle. The company name combines the words "think" and "run", and my boss told me I should "think" by myself for pursue my own goals.
The first thing I worked on was warehouse management for our newly launched sales office. I reduced waste in inventory management and shipment planning for Coca-Cola products and improved productivity by making staff shifts and workstyles more efficient. These achievements were fully recognized and enabled me to advance in my career early on.

No experience is necessary to join the company! Our mentors provide careful, hands-on instruction on the job.

Most important responsibility for me as a sales manager is to actively develop safety promotion measures and train employees to avoid work-related and vehicle accidents. I am also committed to making work more comfortable, and I help improve the work environment by listening to feedback from employees while riding in trucks and doing work in the warehouse with them.
Since many part-time workers and employees join the company with no experience in the industry, training new employees is also important. Mentors work with and carefully teach new employees until they are able to do everything on their own, so you can start from the beginning with absolutely no experience. In addition, all members of the sales office are attentive, and frequent conversations and generous support ensure that they do not feel alone, which eases their worries.
My future goal is to become a branch manager and build a strong team by expanding the work that challenges and creates a great sense of fulfillment.
